About
Luke Barnhart is a 21 year-old Rockabilly musician, as well as an Award Winning Tribute Act. His voice encapsulates the vintage style and soul of the 1950s and 60s. With influences such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Dean Martin, and Buddy Holly, Luke’s voice has a little something for everyone. Born in 2005 from Athens, NY, Luke has had a profound love for music ever since the age of 4 years old with his introduction to Michael Jackson from his mother. He soon started ''moonwalking'' all around the house, forming his idea of singing and dancing. He is a 2023 graduate from Coxsackie-Athens High School, and is currently enrolled at University at Albany (UAlbany) in the Music program. Aside from general music, Luke has an Award-Winning Elvis Tribute Act, which has taken him to different places all across New York and including other prominent locations such as Las Vegas, Canada, England, Nashville, and Elvis’ hometown Memphis, Tennessee. His tribute was brought to the iconic Las Vegas International (Westgate) stage where Elvis performed for 8 years. Luke now focuses on his general Rockabilly work with ''Luke Barnhart & The Atomics,'' playing all types of Rockabilly, with a vintage and soulful style. The group consists of Adam Klein on Upright Bass, Ed Wasilewski on Lead Guitar, and Phil Nestor on Drums. Together they bring a new energy to old standards, thrilling audiences all over the capital region. This young man is not to be missed!
